MAKE IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION SYSTEMS (IIS) WORK FOR YOU
Immunization Information Systems (IIS), also known as immunization registries, are confidential, community-wide, computerized databases that record vaccines administered by participating healthcare professionals. You can use IIS to help with vaccine assessment, reminder/recall, clinical decision support, and vaccine documentation. IIS also have the capacity to electronically exchange data with clinical systems including EHRs (Electronic Health Records). Learn more.
HOW TO REFER ADULT PATIENTS TO OTHER PROVIDERS AND PHARMACIES
These resources are for providers that do not stock adult vaccines or are unable to administer them. For vaccines you don’t stock, it is still critical to make the recommendation and refer the patient to another immunization provider.
